Join us on Friday, May 5th from 5-7pm for the Platteville Bicycle Festival and Family Fun Ride in downtown!  The evening will include a group bicycle ride, kids games and activities including a face painter at City Hall Park, a kids "safe ride" around City Hall Park, and delicious food from The Lunch Bus!  Mark your calendars with more details to follow!

Join us for this year's WalkDown Main on Tuesday, May 2nd!  This history packed evening begins at Badger Bar at 5pm with delicious appetizers and live music by the local band Broke Down.  Next, take a short wagon ride out to Hillside Cemetery and watch four short performances by prominent historic figures John Rountree, Laura Rountree Smith, and Frederick and Martha Hollman.  Finally, finish the evening socializing and an exquisite dinner at Gina's Restaurant & Bar!  Tickets for the event are $42 per individual or $80 per couple.  Reservations are required by April 21st!  This is a fundraising event and all proceeds will be used to move the Fireman's Mural to its new location.  For more information contact Jack Luedtke at director@plattevillemainstreet.com or call 608-348-4505.

Join the UW-Platteville CERES Women's Fraternity for their Easter Egg Hunt in City Hall Park on Thursday, April 20th from 5-7pm!  The event is free and open to children up to the 3rd grade.  There will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny, kids games and activites, and a face painter!

Sweet Treats on Main is Saturday, October 29 from 11AM-2PM!  Come down to Platteville's Main Street for a fun and safe trick-or-treating experience for the whole family!!  Kids can trick-or-treat at our participating merchants, decorate pumpkins with the Rotary Club, get their pictures taken with several Disney characters, see a free showing of "Hotel Transylvania 2" at the historic Avalon Theatre, and take a free train ride at the Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums!  We are also welcoming Mickey and Minnie Mouse to Sweet Treats this year, so make sure to stop down and get your picture taken with them!

This month's Women on Main will be hosted by Tashner Vision Clinic on Wednesday, September 28 from 4-6pm.

Women on Main is a quarterly event that celebrates our Main Street Businesses and the women of our community.  Each event is hosted by a Main Street Merchant and attended by women from the area.  The event encourages women to visit, establish new friendships and rekindle old ones, and network professionally.  The event is free and open to all women!

Platteville Dairy Days was started in 1947. It has now grown to be the largest single event that is staged annually in Platteville, Wisconsin. The family themed event has something for everyone to enjoy and great food, too! Be sure to sign up for the Platteville Dairy Days Talent Show!

Cows on Main is an annual Main Street event tied to Platteville's local Dairy Days Celebration.  Inspired by the annual Dairy Days theme, Main Street businesses use their creativity to decorate their "cows" and display them in front of their shops.  This year's theme is "OUR ROOTS RUN DEEP."  Main Street shoppers are encouraged to visit the Main Street shops and vote for their favorite cow!  The contest runs through September 11th, so cast your vote today!
